Savanna B—Pet Care Technician Team Leader

Savanna, a Colorado native joined the NAMC team in June 2009. She shares her life with her dogs, Tala, Patch, Caliber and her horse, Hopeliss. They all live on the farm with Savanna and her family. Savanna enjoys being outside working and playing with the NAMC daycare and boarding pets. She loves having a job where she can work and play everyday.

Michelle “Fin” F—Pet Care Technician

Michelle “Fin” F., Kennel TeamleaderMichelle joined the NAMC team in April of 2009 as a member of the Client Care team. Recently she has been working in the Kennel Department as a Pet Care Technician and loves working with the pets. Originally from Western Nebraska Michelle moved to Lincoln to pursue her Associates in Applied Science in Massage Therapy. She came to NAMC because of her love of pets and also works as a Massage Therapist in a day spa. Fin shares her life with fur family members kitties-Ruby Tuesday and Roofeo. Ruby was a 22nd Birthday present from a friend and Roofeo was a rescue. Fin’s future goal is to be a canine massage therapist.

Justin R—Pet Care Technician

Justin R., Pet Care TechnicianJustin joined the NAMC team in March 2010 and quickly has become a huge asset to the team. Having lots of love for animals where better to work than at NAMC! Justin grew up on a farm in Milford, NE with his mom, brother, sister and many pets. He shares a home with a kitty cat named Niko Hai. One of his hobbies is motor-cross and can drive a four-wheeler for hours!

Chelsea N—Pet Care Technician

Chelsea N, Pet Care TechnicianChelsea, a Lincoln Native, is a Psychology student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln . She started working at NAMC in 2011. Her furry family includes 2 cats named Calvin and Bella. In her free time she plays guitar, sings, runs, and enjoys travelling. Chelsea entertains the NAMC staff with her rapping skills.

Christa O—Pet Care Technician

Christa,Pet Care TechnicianChrista is from Lawrence, NE. She started working at NAMC in February 2011. Christa is studying Animal Science at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. She has a 20-year-old horse named Trey that she loves to work with. Christa enjoys running and chatting with friends. She is a part of the NE Pork Producers, NE Beef Industry Scholars, UNL Pre-Vet club and UNL Rodeo Association.

Our Grooming Team

Dawn V.

Dawn V. Dawn began her career at NAMC in 1998 and has over 20 years of professional grooming experience. Dawn is also a member of the N.D.G.A.A. (National Dog Groomer’s Association of America) and is the Grooming Team. Dawn is married and has three children and shares her home with Great Dane-Deuce, a rescue who came to Dawn with heartworm disease and, in spite of other health issues, is a happy and lazy boy! Her “fur family” also includes Pug-Babe Forney and Standard Poodle-E.A.T.Y. who is very silly and an airhead, but is pretty arm-candy!

Holly W.

Holly W. Holly began her career in 2006 as a member of the Client Care Team. After intensive grooming training, Holly joined our Grooming Team as a professional pet groomer. Holly shares her home with Schnug-Marko, Bernese Mtn. Dog Cross-Sampson, and Chihuahua-Killer. Holly happily says, “I have a Schnug to hug and a Puggle to snuggle…what could be any better? Sampson is a big teddy bear and Killer’s bark is definitely bigger than his bite could ever be!” Holly also says “I love my job as a groomer…nothing’s more satisfying than seeing the look on the owner’s face when they see their beautifully groomed pet! Each day is a fun, new and exciting day. It’s never a dull moment being a pet groomer!” In what free time she has, Holly is also a cheerleading coach at a local high school.

Catherine B—Professional Pet Groomer

Catherine B., Professional Pet GroomerCatherine joined the NAMC team in August of 2010.

RaeJean “RJ” H—Bather & Pet Groomer Apprentice

RaeJean “RJ” H., Bather & Pet Groomer ApprenticeRJ joined the NAMC team in August of 2009. She began as a bather for the groomers and is attending training currently as a Groomer Apprentice.

Elizabeth “Liz” W—Bather

Liz returned to NAMC as a bather in the Grooming Dept in August 2009 after being a “stays at home mom”. You might say it is “all in the family” as Liz is the sister of Pet Groomer, Holly.
