What's Happening at NAMC?

PET RESCUE...ANGEL TREE...come in and check out the Angel Tree. There are wish list requests from a number of pet rescue organizations, as well as pets needing a forever home. If you can help with either, please stop in and pick up a name! 

WE ARE A DROP OFF POINT FOR TOYS FOR TOTS... along with the Nebraska Heart Institute. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys and delivering them to NHI on Dec 11th, so please drop them off before that date. Thanks for helping make a child's Christmas!

 NAMC Staff Volunteering in the Community...

A number of NAMC staff members volunteer at Hearts United for Animals, a no-kill shelter near Auburn, NE. They play with the dogs and give them lots of TLC! Thanks for all you do when you volunteer there! You are appreciated and are making a difference one pet at a time! Check out HUA at www.hua.org

In addition, staff members volunteer with Pet Rescue Groups, such as Doberman Rescue and Golden Retriever Rescue. Volunteers act as Foster homes, help place pets, and bring awareness of the need to adopt these special pets. Way to go guys!

Therapy Dogs...Several of our staff, and their certified therapy dogs are visiting in the community. Chelle and her chocolate lab,  ACEI, visit in an Alzheimer's Unit in a Nursing Care facility and Nanci and her yellow lab, Miss T, visit at Bryan LGH East & West and are Hospice volunteers therapy dog team. Miss T is also a Reading Education Assistance Dog and can be found at the local libraries being read to by children!

 NAMC is doing our part to be GREEN!
In an effort to be good stewards to our earth and environment, we have chosen to do our part by:

RECYCLING- paper, cans (aluminum and tin), plastic, cardboard, office supplies (printer cartridges), packing peanuts and more! We will even accept your old towels and blankets (in good condition) for use in our facility, don't throw them away, bring them to us!

CLEANING GREEN- we use "green" products for cleaning and disinfecting. It is safer for pets, our staff and our world!
