Payment is required at the time of service. We do have a payment plan and that is Care Credit. You can fill out an application on the Care Credit website or we can give you an application to fill out. It is important to pre-qualify with Care Credit prior to having services performed.

5. At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?
Spaying or neutering is most often done at approximately 6 months of age. An examination is done on your pet prior to surgery. A pre-anesthetic blood screen, ECG and other diagnostic tests are highly recommended before your pet has a surgical procedure.

6.  What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?
These on-site blood tests are run prior to your pet's surgery. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is a window into your pet's health. We recommend pre-anesthetic blood screening and other tests (as warrented) to insure your pet's system can handle the anesthesia during surgery and recover well following surgery.

7. How long do the sutures stay in after my pet's surgery?
Procedures involving external sutures are usually removed 10 - 14 days following surgery.

8.  Is it a good idea to let my pet have at least one litter?
No, there is not an advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However, there are plenty of advantages to having you pet spayed or neutered.

Advantages include: decreasing the chances of breast tumors later in life, decreasing the chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections, decreasing the desire to roam the neighborhood, decreasing the incidence of prostate cancer later in life, helping prevent spraying and marking, and spaying or neutering decreases the surplus of unwanted puppies and kittens.

9.  Do you board pets?
Yes, we offer boarding and daycare for puppies & dogs and kittens & cats. We will also board birds and other small animals but, in some cases, we may ask you to bring your own cage and food for your birds and pocket pets.

10.  What are your kennels like?
Our kennels are all indoor and climate controlled. We also have a secure, fenced, outside play area for dogs.
