Dr. Megan Ehlers

A native of Minden, Neb., Dr. Megan Ehlers graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from Kansas State University.

Dr. Ehlers enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, and the miracle of the human-animal bond. Her special interests include: oncology, orthopedic surgery, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation therapies, and internal medicine. She also works closely with a few therapy dog and rescue organizations.

In her spare time she enjoys running and has participated in several marathons.  Dr. Ehlers and her husband, Britt, have two daughters, Lizzie and Addie, and a son, Ben and pet family members Golden Retriever Buddy and Labrador Gabbi.
