Josh moved to Lincoln, Nebraska from Denver, Colorado on a whim and joined our team in April of 2017. His best friend and loyal travel companion is a German Shepard named Jackson. Together they enjoy hiking, swimming, car rides and Frisbee. When they are home Jackson loves people watching from his chair while Josh reads, cooks, or works on a jigsaw puzzle. Josh also enjoys creating and building. He is currently enrolled in Penn Foster and working towards becoming a LVT.
Lisha moved to Lincoln, Nebraska from Austin, Texas in June of 2016 and joined our staff in July of 2016. She moved to Lincoln with her daughter and her pets. Lisha has been in the pet health and welfare industry for over 20 years and is proud to be a member of the health care team at NAMC. In her free time she likes to explore what Nebraska has to offer with her daughter.
Malynn lives in Seward, NE. She graduated from UNL in 2016 with a degree in Animal Science and Ag Business. Malynn joined our staff initially as kennel manager in September of 2015 and eventually became a veterinary assistant.
During college Malynn played rugby for UNL and still enjoys playing on occasion. She has a schnauzer named Ralph and two kittens named Henry and Reeses. She lives in the country and in her free time she enjoys helping around the farm, especially with the cows! Malynn also enjoys playing any sport possible when the weather is nice: golf, sand volleyball, and softball. She also enjoys woodworking and tinkering around in the shop.
Mellissa moved to Nebraska from San Diego, CA in 2014 to attend UNL. She joined our NAMC in October of 2016 and has worked in almost every department. She is an Animal Science (pre-vet major) and currently working on becoming an LVT. Her hobbies involve anything outdoors but her favorite activities are horseback riding and camping. She currently lives with a cat, a duck and 4 chickens.
Tracy grew up in Crofton, Nebraska. She joined our Treatment team in August 2016. When Tracy was in elementary school her family gained a long hair Chihuahua named Fritzy. Fritzy began her love for animals. Tracy attended Wayne State College and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Business. During her college career she enjoyed working at the local vet clinic and Ponca State Park. Tracy moved to Lincoln to continue to foster her interest in animal welfare by becoming a veterinary assistant at NAMC. She added a beautiful boxer mix named Milo to her family. In her spare time she loves to travel, read and hike with Milo.
Katelynn joined our NAMC family in September 2015. She is a veterinary assistant and is studying to become a Veterinary Technician with Penn Foster. Katelynn is a mother of 2 adorable daughter and has 2 boxers. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her family.
