Twenty-nine years ago today, Dr. Kent Forney and his wife Shelley, opened the doors of Forney Animal Center. The original concept was a one-stop location for every kind of veterinary care your pet might need. Today we celebrate the staff, our patients, their owners, and the community that has become Nebraska Animal Medical And Emergency Center. Over the last 29 years, and through two remodels, Nebraska Animal Medical And Emergency Center has evolved into the one-stop location that Dr. Forney envisioned. Whether your pet needs surgery, a vaccination, grooming, boarding, behavior training, or another service we are excited to provide it for you in our state-of-the-art facility, or in some cases at your home. We would like to thank our wonderful staff for their commitment to our patients and their owners. We strive to be high-touch, compassionate, but most of all enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve the community on a day-to-day basis. We work each day at attaining our goal of providing the best care for your pets by employing compassion, education, cutting-edge technology and diagnostics, and creative solutions. We will continue to work to be better each day and to provide the highest level of care available. Over the past 29 years, we have been able to partner with the Lincoln Animal Ambassadors, Domesti-Pups, and the Capital Humane Society to name a few. Dr. Forney, Shelley Forney, and many members of the staff are personally involved and contribute support to over 25 non-profit community organizations. Thanks to you we will continue to support our community and the welfare of all animals for years to come!
