Daycare

No matter what your day entails, be rest assured that our priority is keeping your furry friend happy, healthy, and safe.

A safe place for your pet

Having a safe place for your pet to stay while you’re away from home is crucial. Nebraska Animal Medical And Emergency Center’s pet care technicians look forward to coming to work each day and interacting with your pets when they are in our care. Their enthusiasm and passion for pets are evident in what they say: “We will go above and beyond to give the best care to your pets. Each of us strives to earn your respect and trust and will treat your pets as we would want our own pets treated.” Think of Nebraska Animal Medical And Emergency Center as your pet’s home away from home!

Overview

Convenient location, specialized care, and well-trained, compassionate staff make us the top choice among pet owners. We treat every pet as if they were our very own family pet, and strive to make their stay with us as comfortable and fun-filled as possible. We hope that they will think of our facility as a home away from home.

Why should I place my pet in daycare?

We understand that pet owners have busy lives. Working, hobbies, and running errands can keep us out of the house for most of the day. Have peace of mind that your pet is being cared for by placing them in daycare. Pets that are left home alone can lack the exercise and attention that they need to be happy and healthy. Daycare provides your pet a safe and fun environment where they can socialize and interact with other pets.

When do you offer pet daycare?

Please call our office for a more specific drop-off and pick-up time when arranging daycare services. In most cases, pet owners will drop-off their pet(s) in the morning and pick-up in the late afternoon.

Doggie Daycare

Why leave your pup home alone all day while you’re at work or running errands? Doggie Daycare at Nebraska Animal Medical And Emergency Center offers both care and companionship for your pet. Pets need exercise and socialization to remain mentally and physically fit. Let us fill their day with fun while you are away! Daycare pets go outside at least three times a day for about 20 minutes each time. Dogs love safely running and playing off-leash in our fenced-in backyard. Our experienced kennel staff supervises our daycare dogs at all times. This ensures they are having fun and are comfortable in our safe environment. Because many of us work long days, daycare is perfect for dogs that may need medication during the day while you are at work. Daycare can be a good way to correct bad behaviors dogs may have at home; such as destructive chewing, poor canine social skills, separation anxiety, poor leash walking behaviors, etc. Daycare provides dog interaction with others of equal energy levels and sizes. They learn correct play behaviors while being preoccupied with their new-found doggie friends.

Puppy Daycare

Puppy Daycare is an excellent way for puppies to learn socialization skills with other dogs and people. As an added plus, Puppy Daycare helps potty and crate train dogs because they are taken outside and exercised every two hours. Puppies also get lots of exercise by playing with other puppies, toys, and our caring staff. This provides much-needed stimulation for both mind and body. Daycare gives dogs a chance to be part of a “pack” in a safe, monitored environment when their owners are not available.
