Dr. Kate Rawlinson was born and raised here in Lincoln, NE. Dr. Rawlinson has been drawn to, and had a love for animals from a young age. She graduated from Lincoln Pius X, and then received her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2018. In 2022, Dr. Rawlinson graduated cum laude from Iowa State with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree.
Dr. Rawlinson’s special interests include emergency medicine. She enjoys the fast-paced challenging environment, saving lives, and feeling like she is making a difference!
When not at work, Dr. Rawlinson trains and competes in dressage with her horse Image. They have multiple national and world titles as well as a USEF bronze medal. Dr. Rawlinson has two furry friends at home Jade, a sweet black lab, and Mocha, a lazy mastiff. Dr. Rawlinson loves baking, exploring new coffee shops, and restaurants. She also loves Husker sports, and catches every football, volleyball, and basketball game that she can.
Dr. Rawlinson looks forward to creating long-term personal connections with patients and their families. She loves helping owners customize medical plans to their lifestyle and educating families on how to keep their best furry friends safe, happy, and healthy from first vaccines to retirement.
